Broadcasting from Traktor & WinAmp/DSP using Windows (XP)

Open Traktor and go to preferences > Broadcasting.

Under Proxy Settings select ‘Use Direct Connection (no proxy)’

Enter 127.0.0.1 in the address field and 8000 in the port field.

Format should be: Ogg Vorbis, 44100 Hz, 96kBit/s

Next, go in to Control Panel and select ‘Sounds, Speech and Audio Devices’

Now click ‘Sounds and Audio Devices’

Click on the ‘Audio’ Tab

Please click “Volume button” of the sound recording. next window opens

Please open Properties in the menu of the option.

Please apply the check mark to Stereo Mix.

On the Input tab please select the following:

Input Device: Soundcard Input

Input Settings: 44100Hz, Stereo

Under Soundcard Mixer select Line Input

Now go back to the Output tab and hit connect and play some music!
