Setting Up Shoutcast DSP on Winamp

This guide will go through the procedure of setting up ShoutCast DSP on your system

1. Download Shoutcast DSP here	N/A
2. Download WinAmp here, install WinAmp first then the DSP	N/A
3. Start Winamp and open Preferences (CTRL-P) and click on the DSP/effects subcategory under the Plug-ins tree. The DSP will pop up	Fig 1.
4. On the window that pops up, click on the Output tab and enter the following: Address: you get this on the My Stream Password page in Admin Port: you get this on the My Stream Password page in Admin Password: you get this on the My Stream Password page in Admin Encoder: 1 Reconnect Seconds: 10	Fig 2.
5. Click on the Encoder button, then change the encoder to: Encoder type: MP3 Encoder Encoder setting: 96kbps, 44.100kHhz, Stereo Note: Due to a bug, on every load of WinAmp, the Encoder type resets to AAC - you need to change it backto MP3	Fig 2.
6. Now click the Basic Settings tab and enter the following: Input device: Soundcard input Input setting: 44100Hz, Stereo Soundcard mixer: Line In Then click OK and you're done! All you need to do is go to the Outputtab and click Connect	Fig 3.
